A few years ago I was lucky enough to be given my mk6 Fez, if I’d had my way I would never have bought a 5 door, but you can’t look a gift horse in the mouth and me and my growing family are incredibly grateful for Faye the Fez.

Anyway, as I presume any car modder does, the first thing I did was to google 5 door mk6 modified fiesta to see what was going on in the 5 door scene. And its a pretty busting scene, the 5 door is getting a lot more love these days than it ever used to. And Amy’s Fez is up there as one of the best, whats she done to her rare apple green Fez just helps to prove my point. Starting with of course the smoothed front and rear ST bumpers which help to highlight the custom boot lid with numberplate recess shortened and fully debadged. The spoiler is a point of contention for me, personally on my mk6 I have the ST spoiler and I love it, but I know a lot of 5 door’ers think it elongates the back end and as it sits over the rear lights (which again are custom red tinted units and make a huge but subtile difference) it just does not look right, and on this example I don’t think it would. The little 5 door spoiler gives this rear end a beautifully euro look, obviously helped by being slammed on coilovers with bumps removed, and sitting on some wide ass Schmidts Modernlines, no air ride here, which fills me with joy!

Amy has gone fully colour coded with bump strips, door handles, wing mirrors, fog lights, and probably a shed load more, and then she dropped in some devil eyes with drls to get a front end with some serious attitude, and if this was bearing down on me on the M25, I’d move out the way…

But theres more, of course theres more, the interior has had as much love as the exterior, with gloss black pillars, sun visors, centre console, heater and vent surrounds, which look great with the black leather seats, headlining and door cards. All this black tho and your gonna need some more green to break it up a bit, so some custom made green stitched black leather gear and handbrake gaiters help, along side the colour coded Sparco steering wheel which for me is the icing on the cake.

There is bound to be more that I’ve missed, but as this is a standard ModiFLY mini blurb, I feel that I’ve probably covered enough already. Great work Amy, love your 5door.
