I am an artist that finds a particular affinity with the underwater world. This weightless arena we glide through, this sonorous place we experience rather than command, puts my mind into a distinct mode. A mode that paradoxically is infused with calm and a sense of home while at the same time contains wonder and trepidation. You can never truely know whats out there, there could be endless possibilities. All we can say is that it is so much bigger and stronger than us. I feel I could endlessly gaze at the alien creatures it contains.

But into this magical space we take the vagaries of everyday life too. From the depths of our minds to the depths of our journey as we drop. The absurdity of the mundane in this extraordinary place stays with me.
